The Possessive Imperial Uncle: The Heir's Marriage Plans

(At first, the heroine disguises herself as a man. A strong heroine and hero, one-on-one romance, feel-good and angst-free.) She is a “young man,” a refugee who was once a modern-day female assassin. He is a fugitive, gravely wounded and afflicted with a deadly poison. When they first meet, she saves him by stomping an official soldier to death. “Could you help me escape the war? I will repay you handsomely.” “If you want my help, marry me,” she says with a wicked grin. He is stunned into silence. When they meet again, she is a useless heir to a prince's title, mocked by everyone in public. He is a revered God of War whom no one dares offend. Talk about a bolt from the blue. She transmigrates and becomes a good-for-nothing? And has to disguise herself as a man? Her scumbag of a man and her half-sister scheme to send her beyond the frontier. Little do they know that after her soul changes, she will return in spectacular fashion, not only with peerless martial arts but also with a power base she has been secretly cultivating. Want her dead? Then taste what it means to be shattered to pieces! Her mother is frail, so she will protect her. Her worthless father can get lost. The civil and military examinations, the clash of armies, none of it is beyond her. A peerless heir to a prince's title, born for greatness. Song Ningyuan never uses a single dirty word when she curses. But when she sees him standing beside her with a cool expression and that same proud air, she can't help softening toward him. Bonus scenes: 1. “Men and women should keep their distance,” Song Ningyuan said with an awkward laugh. The man replied coldly, “You promised to marry me that day. I always keep my word.” “How can I let you into my home?” “Into your home?” The imperial uncle's face darkened. “You said you'd offer me the realm as a betrothal gift. Don't go back on your word!” 2. Looking at the young man pinning him down, the man suppressed his anger and said, “Song Ningyuan, how many times have you knocked me down?” Song Ningyuan counted on her fingers. “Only seven or eight times?” The man laughed in fury. “In that case, how about letting me knock you down once?” Song Ningyuan let go, lay back, and smiled wickedly. “As you command.” “...”
