I Can Hear Your Electromagnetic Waves

I had a very, very long dream. The world within it was virtual, yet so vivid and clear that it was almost impossible to tell apart from reality. Ordinary city streets, crowds of people and cars flowing back and forth without end. But there was only one girl who caught my attention. She slipped silently through the crowd, following the streams of light. Even when people brushed past her, her eyes reflected nothing, not even for a fleeting glance. She simply crossed the intersection, calm and unhurried. She couldn’t see anyone, just as no one could see her.
