These are the novels I have been reading recently. The books added to the book list are all books that suit my taste, have their own characteristics, and that I personally think are worth recommending. These are just books that suit my own taste. It's About Hegemony and Entertainment in Troubled Times in History, Both at Home and Abroad, and the Ending Story Basically Doesn't Abuse the Protagonist.
History, single time travel, struggle for hegemony in troubled times, no system (for China, I mainly recommend the Warring States, late Qin, Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, late Sui Dynasty, Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, and the late Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Military is the main line. Basically, you make your own decisions, and most of them have a low starting point.) 1. In the late Ming Dynasty, there were single wear, group wear, soul wear, and wearing. This book is okay, but it is worth reading for those who are not familiar with the Ming Dynasty and Wanli Dynasty. I am a history buff, and I am particularly familiar with the Wanli Dynasty of the Ming Dynasty, which has led to a somewhat solidified understanding of it. It is inevitable that some descriptions in the book are unacceptable. The book is consistent with historical logic and is reasonable. But for example, Wanli made glass to make money and asked Wu Qingbo to sell it. This does not exist. Before Wanli came to power, he had very little freedom. Everything he did was watched and reported to Li. If he did something naughty, he would appeal to his ancestors to depose him as emperor and let his grandfather sell it. Wouldn't the eunuchs and maids know about such a big thing? Wu Qingbo is afraid of his daughter. It is impossible not to report this kind of thing. You, a person who has traveled through time, may have different thoughts, but you cannot control the external environment. Is it possible that when you travel through time, others give you freedom through the butterfly effect? As an emperor, if he tries to make money and is known to be criticized for competing with the people, Zhang Juzheng will be severely reprimanded, and his mother-in-law and concubine will scare him by making noises about dethroning him. So the logic is sound but not tenable in that context. Therefore, people who are very familiar with this period of history should not read it, as it will not make them uncomfortable. It's like the weird and uncomfortable feeling of being fed water even though you know you can't drink it.
Are the losses caused by corrupt officials only money?
After reading the first few chapters, I found that there are many book friends in the book reviews who are smart and claim to be at the decision-making level of governing the country but also play low-level power. One of the naive arguments is that corrupt officials only need to be greedy for a little money and have the ability to do good things. At worst, they can confiscate their homes to get the money back. This is not a realistic fantasy at all: As a high-level official, there is no such thing as a corrupt official just to take advantage of the country on a daily basis (it cannot be committed), and corruption is definitely a huge corruption. In fact, there are only two ways to achieve this - directly embezzling/exchanging decisions from treasury resources and indirectly selling officials/dividing stolen goods. The losses caused by both cannot be made up by ransacking homes and getting some money back. The former often directly causes national projects/decisions (military, economic or livelihood disaster relief, etc.) To fail due to resource embezzlement or wrong decisions; the latter will cause the management team to deteriorate/the system to collapse and unhealthy practices to prevail. Both will cause a chain reaction in the country due to failure in major decisions or implementation, leading to a great loss of military morale/popular morale and a great loss of national strength. Can you make up for it by ransacking your home? We cannot be unilaterally optimistic that watching the killing of corrupt officials can improve public sentiment to a certain extent, but ignore the public sentiment lost when corrupt officials messed up (not to mention that the losses caused by decision-making errors or the failure of major projects are often several times or even dozens of times greater than the cause/corruption of money).
Newbies can watch it and try it out, it's very poisonous
It doesn't matter if there are a lot of typos in the article, why should I take it for granted and be so high! I can't beat you to death! If you don't understand history, don't make it embarrassing by writing about it! Grass
The book is okay, and the poisonous points can be tolerated for now, but can the author make fewer typos? After you finish writing, check if it's correct (~_~;). Don't you have time for proofreading╰(‵□′)╯
When will ideological reform The chapter about the Ming Dynasty is a bit confusing. Why is it said that the Ming Dynasty will still fall, but the next one will still be the Han Dynasty? According to the development of the plot, it will not be because of the butterfly effect, oh, it will change the subsequent historical process.
Having read the book Guanju Yipin, I couldn't stand reading Wanli anymore. Maybe I was preconceived.
Too little, not enough to watch
As the title says, come on, author! Come on! Come on! 🌹🌹🌹
It's well written. My intuitive feeling is that it's quite enjoyable to watch, but it's not overwhelming. If you're not a book reader, you can give it a try.
Empress Dowager Li's status is not that high, but the novel exalts her status too high. Ming history records that Wanli and his aunt were having dinner, and Empress Dowager Li was always waiting and serving food.
Tucao: It's not good to make up royal fairy tales in China. Let's tell the story of Snow White. The real emperor XJB is going to cause trouble. Princess, stepmother queen, poison apple, what do you want to do? I have never really liked telling stories or writing novels in ancient times. Firstly, these were not on the stage at the time, and secondly, the story chosen was too poor. It neither considered the historical background of the story nor the historical background of the time travel. It just wanted to dress B and slap in the face. It was embarrassing to watch.
The first few dozen chapters are a bit dull, and the inner activities are relatively long-winded. After a few dozen chapters, it becomes very exciting. The official battle scenes have the same feeling as watching "The First Grade of Officials", and the plot arrangement is also relatively reasonable, from personal safety to power transition, starting from the army and then This method of controlling government affairs is the right choice for being an emperor. The difficulties and troubles encountered by the protagonist are also more in line with my taste. It is not like "The First Tyrant of the Ming Dynasty" or something like that, where you only know how to kill people and confiscate homes, and make the Jinyi Weidong Factory an infinite myth. How can it be that simple? The slight shortcoming of this book is that the narrative is a bit long-winded. One sentence requires more than half a chapter. The power of the eunuchs is too lenient (it seems that the protagonist said that he will take it back in the future), and he is not afraid that the end will be too big~ In addition, I particularly agree with the independence of the judiciary. I checked the information by the way and I also like the dominance of the IRS. I also saw that the level of integrity of US government officials is among the best in the world. Mutual supervision and transparency in governance is an important reason, but it is obviously not advisable. The US bureaucracy is a bit bloated and it will definitely not be opened in the Ming Dynasty.
In the first two chapters, Zhang Juzheng was set up as a traitor. The author should at least respect history. Zhang Juzheng's reforms can be said to have forcibly renewed the life of the Ming Dynasty. The character of this traitorous minister is biased.
The book is good, especially the stuff about reform. There is great resistance to tearing it down and starting over again. Improvements should be made slowly and step by step from the existing institutions and laws, which will not easily arouse large-scale resistance. During the Wanli period, the Ming Dynasty was not rotten to the root, and there was still hope for correction.
It is not recommended to read this novel. Zhang Juzheng has been slandered all the time. The author has some personal information. I don't know if there is a grudge between the ancestors and Zhang Juzheng or something else. Without Zhang, the Ming Dynasty would have perished earlier.
Zhang Juzheng is the savior of the world, but you are so dissatisfied with him? What are you talking about, Ming Shenzong, a super-foolish emperor who has not been in court for twenty or thirty years?
Read the first twenty chapters. I can only say that I'm crazy about quitting. I'm really curious about how this book has 150,000 fans. Brother, you are the emperor, why do you do so many bells and whistles? I'm speechless. And you are just a 10-year-old child now. You are engaged in glass, mathematics, compilation of textbooks, and pencils. You even sketched a good guy. Are you really not afraid of others knowing? Also, you are the emperor, not a laborer. If you do this, the readers will have no sense of involvement at all, and it will be easy to persuade them to quit.
The author is really a political novice. He wanted to kill Feng Bao so he killed me and made me laugh. The reason why Wei Zhongxian was killed by the emperor was because he relied on the emperor, and Feng Bao and Zhang Juzheng combined are more emperor than you are the real emperor. You are just their puppet.
The author was not threatened or talked to. Last year, Jazz also suddenly finished a new book and started a new one without any extra chapters. It always felt like a clean break. It's like there are taboos about writing about the Ming Dynasty, so you can't write casually?
It is a bit disobedient to see Feng Bao dead, a political ally of Zhang Juzheng's reform, and when he died of illness, Zhang Juzheng still called him diligent, sincere and agile. He had long been known to Suzu, (Sejong) often heard that he was "capitalized" and not famous. Such an ally with political interests, the author did not try to win over, but killed him. Historically, Emperor Wanli was still young, and there was nothing he could do if Feng Bao became more powerful. An emperor who always wanted to be in power but did not support reforms. As an ally of Zhang Juzheng, he must control the emperor. Since the author has written about time travel, you can just state your support for their reforms. If you do so many things, you will lose a lot of political interests. Often the simplest politics are destroyed by you like this. I wonder if Zhang Juzheng still dares to change. The male protagonist written by the author is too naive. Without an overall view, Wanli of the Ming Dynasty knew from the beginning that the enemy would always be scholar-bureaucrats, businessmen, landlords, corrupt officials, Japanese pirates, and Tatars on the border. The author did not understand the enemy at all, and directly killed Feng Bao, an ally of the reform, which was completely incomprehensible.
I have never understood why those who write historical novels are so keen on colonization, as if China must colonize to enter the industrial age. The Ming Dynasty and those countries in Europe are not on the same level in terms of national conditions and size. Historically, they needed colonization, but the Ming Dynasty did not necessarily need it. The purpose of colonization is to plunder the colonial material, raw materials, population and commodity dumping. But for Daming, there is no other place that can meet the supply of raw materials for Daming. There is not much land for planting in Japan, North Korea, the Philippines, and Indonesia. If the land is forcibly converted to growing industrial raw materials, in an era when food growing technology has not been greatly improved, food may need to be transported from outside. Although the eastern part of Australia is suitable for human survival, it is mountainous and has little value for large-scale development. The central region cannot be developed on a large scale unless water is provided. The iron ore in the west, unless it enters modern industry, is giving away people's lives. In addition to industrial raw materials, there is also the plundering of gold and silver mines. Originally, the Ming Dynasty had absorbed a large amount of silver plundered from Spain. I remember that the original history of the Ming Dynasty caused the devaluation of silver. If the gold and silver were plundered at a low cost, it would probably cause currency devaluation and inflation. Historically, Spain had a large amount of South American silver flowing into the country, causing inflation. In the end, Spain lost to Britain and missed out on the Industrial Revolution. There is also the plunder of the population. Unless the Ming Dynasty colonizes the Americas, large-scale human trafficking is meaningless. East Asia is already a rich population area. If you want to sell it to the Ming Dynasty, every slave flowing into the Ming Dynasty will cause the unemployment of a native. One of the reasons for the American Civil War is that there is no place to buy industrial products in the north. Europe does not want them and wants to sell them to the south. As a result, except for a small number of wealthy farmers in the south, they are extremely poor white and black slaves with no purchasing power. Therefore, unless there is a large-scale manpower shortage in the Ming Dynasty, do not try to introduce a large number of slaves, otherwise it will cause a large number of extremely poor people in the Ming Dynasty. I personally think that Ming Dynasty does not need colonization now, but encourages its people to work hard to have children and develop Northeast, Taiwan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan and other places. Externally, they suppressed regional dignitaries, robbed the rich and gave to the poor to increase the purchasing power of ordinary people, and then dumped goods to popularize Ming culture, completing cultural assimilation and capital control, rather than simple plunder and attempted colonization.
You are too good at boasting, Qi Jiguang, Hai Rui, etc.
Qi Jiguang treated Zhang Juzheng as a dog, but he dared to question the emperor when facing the protagonist? Hai Rui has never scolded the emperor. He was promoted precisely because he was blessed by the Holy Family. Otherwise, he would have done nothing to promote people. These people are all dog-licking ministers. As a result, these people you wrote dare to ask the emperor to explain. The protagonist has to explain to them what he does. Can you stop being such a loser? Only subordinates can explain to their superiors. When you go to work, your boss explains problems to you?
The subsequent Korean and Japanese wars are probably similar to other Ming Dynasty novels.
I hope the author will write more about the economic and political reform and construction of the Ming Dynasty. Before the reform, the Ming Dynasty was already the most powerful country of that era. As long as you can make reforms, have money and firearms, and be unrivaled militarily, there is nothing to write home about. The most annoying thing is those novels that impose the modern system. I have never heard that if you go beyond half a step, you are a genius, and if you go beyond one step, you are crazy. It is like the author's best combination of the current system and the system of that time.
All I can say is that history novices can read it, but those who have read books like "Things About the Ming Dynasty" should not read it, as they will make you sick.
I finally saw the Northern Expedition and expressed my thoughts. From the current perspective, Siberian oil is a very important resource, but it was a deserted place in the Ming Dynasty. Many books written about the Ming Dynasty were about large-scale expeditions to Siberia or immigration, all of which were done by themselves. The productivity of the Ming Dynasty could not support it at all, and even modern times cannot support large-scale population reproduction. Personally, I think that as long as we control both sides of Heilongjiang, from Lake Baikal to Vladivostok. Then it is best to support Sanyuzi and eat Big Yuzi so that the national border will be pushed directly to Almaty, Kazakhstan. Supporting Xiaoyuzi can directly threaten the core area of Russia. The southern Vietnam region must be eaten, and it is best to push it directly to Cam Ranh Bay. Other regions mainly control the islands. Palawan, the Andaman Islands, and the Riau Islands control Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Jakarta. Basically, the South China Sea and Southeast Asia are in our hands. The countries on the southeastern peninsula are mainly divided, with pro-China support and anti-China suppression. It would be too costly to directly attack them with large armies, and the maintenance costs would be too high. Conquering North America can only be thought about. Not to mention that there are too few supply points in the North Pacific and it is extremely cold. It is no man's land. Even in Alaska and Canada's Yukon, it is basically no man's land now. Although there are gold mines in San Francisco, large-scale development in California will not begin until the completion of the East-West Railway and the Hoover Dam. Otherwise, the coastline will not be suitable for development at all. Without the Hoover Dam, there will be no water for irrigation in the central plains. Therefore, it is basically impossible for many novels to develop the United States from California. The most important thing is that there is also a Rocky Mountains. Don't even think about going around it. People travel across the Americas from Canada to Chile. Of course, if it can occupy the coastline and make the United States lose the Pacific Ocean, then China basically has the final say over the entire Pacific Ocean. In other offshore novels, Japan has basically been slaughtered. Let's not talk about the possibility, a blank land is worthless. Immigrants to Taiwan, Northeast China, and Southeast Asia are not enough. Therefore, the main focus is to capture Kyushu Island. Depending on whether the interests are to maintain the situation of Japan's Warring States period or to help the pro-China unification of Japan, and to capture Jeju Island, Guam, Ryukyu, and cooperate with Taiwan, Palawan, Riau Islands, and Singapore, the entire coastline is locked. Then Han Chinese countries were established in the Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand. How could a big brother have no little brothers?
The writing in these recent chapters is so childish! Let's not talk about the remnants of the Meng Yuan forces who were beaten by Zhu Yuanzhang. Did they take away the jade seal? Is it really carved by that dynasty and that generation? Let's just say that even if you get this jade seal, how much prestige will it add to the protagonist? Can the hearts of the people be won over by a broken stone? Then the Qin Dynasty will not perish! First of all, what the protagonist inherits is the Han Dynasty Ming Dynasty that Zhu Yuanzhang snatched back from the Mongolian and Yuan Tatars. The righteousness of the country itself is unprecedented in terms of orthodox legal principles. It is a true inheritance of the destiny of the people and the support of the people. Nothing is needed to prove its orthodox destiny! The Ming Dynasty also fell due to the loss of popular support caused by natural and man-made disasters. When Lao Zhu first established the Ming Dynasty, he also thought about finding a famous ancestor for himself, such as Zhu Xi, but he gave up in the end. Why? It is because he knows where the people's support is the basis of the regime he established. The world is so big. Could it be the king's land, leading the land's shores, or the king's ministers, expanding the territory and enclosing the territory, the soldiers working hard, attacking the unfaithful, and pursuing the Tartars? Justice is where justice is. If you are famous for your military service, why do you need a reason? Obedience to civilization, virtue to education, it is an honor to plan to enter the Han Dynasty! The way of heaven lies in the human heart, and the way of the human heart lies in enriching the people!
The Queen Mother is also the emperor's minister. How could the emperor call himself "son minister" to the Queen Mother?
In addition, the Queen Mother may have to address the Emperor as "Your Majesty" rather than "Emperor's Son" just like the Queen Mother, just like the Empress Dowager and Empress Dowager in the Song Dynasty also had to address the Emperor as "Guan Jia".
I feel like the author made the protagonist timid. How did the Qin Dynasty reform? I think that as long as you have an army, you don't have to be afraid of anything. Look at how useless the protagonist is. He just wasted 5 years after traveling through time. How many more years do you have before you can reform? If the protagonist wants to reform slowly and excessively, it will definitely require the efforts of several generations. Does the protagonist have that ability?
He is both an emperor and a slave. I don't know, I thought Huang Taiji was here.
You can't read the current reviews, they are all talking about poison. Once you open it, it's pretty good, but some of the well-reviewed novels are a lot more poisonous.
