The Enemy-Cutting Blade

Ding Songling, code-named Enemy-Grinding Blade, is an underground Communist Party member embedded in the Military Statistics Bureau's Xishan City station. While carrying out an undercover mission, he unexpectedly ends up in Songling Prison. The day before his public trial, Songling falls. Japanese troops rescue Ding Songling and two collaborators. Witnessing the Japanese invaders' atrocities leaves him in unbearable anguish. He remains in the wolves' den, fighting the Japanese alone in a covert war, like an unstoppable blade that leaves the enemy bleeding time and again...

After two years of this, on the eve of the great counteroffensive, he successfully organizes Operation Empty City, winning the first victory in the campaign to recover lost territory in the southwest. From then on, the name Grinding Blade resounds throughout the southwest.
