Reasons for recommending "Double Luan Ji"~
Ahem~I will write the first review myself~ In fact, I started to have ideas for writing this novel in 2015. I started designing the outline and some plot ideas in the spring of 2016. However, the version you see now was only started at the end of 2017. The process was still very tortuous. I changed the version 4 to 5 times and completely overturned and rewritten it. Including insufficient military knowledge, I stopped, looked up books, papers, and reference materials, just to reflect the story of the Republic of China in my heart more realistically and perfectly. Of course, in the process, I and the character's psychology experienced some changes at different levels. I really began to feel that what I wrote was indeed a vivid and true story that must be read. Ahem, so I will recommend myself and talk about a few reasons why I think "Double Luan Ji" is pretty good: 1. The structure is realistic and the details are exquisite. The background of "Shuang Luan Ji" is rooted in the real Republic of China period. The story mainly takes place in Chengdu. I consulted many historical materials of the Republic of China period before writing. From the mountains and geography of Guanghan to folk customs (such as the plot of the funeral of the Xue family uncle and ancestor worship activities), these are all research materials. I only re-depicted and presented them to everyone after I understood them. Many Sichuan dialects are used in the book, because my characters are from Sichuan, and their daily language habits are inseparable from the use of dialects. Interpretations are also included at the end, because many readers may not be from Sichuan like me, and may not understand some words. Writing in a dialect that I am not familiar with actually caused certain difficulties for my narrative, but I think this is an effective way to shape my characters. In order to better present the characteristics of the characters, I still chose this more difficult way. When writing about characters in the book, we rarely describe what kind of person he is in a straightforward way. Instead, we write about the occurrence of some events, the character's reaction and performance in the events, including some psychological activities, so that readers can analyze and summarize what kind of person he is. This writing certainly increases the difficulty of plot description, but I think it is more consistent. In line with the psychology of interactions between people in a real environment, the portrayal of the characters will be more layered, and it will also deepen the readers' impression of the characters. For some of the characters' behaviors in the subsequent plot, the readers can even predict in advance or after the behaviors have occurred, they will have an experience of sudden enlightenment and instant understanding in retrospect. 2. The plot is compact and has many foreshadowings. "Shuangluan Ji" starts from the beginning and ends at the end of the first volume. It has a total of sixteen chapters, 43,600 words, and more than 30 characters. It focuses on characterizing the characters to more than seven levels. Each chapter has many foreshadowings, deep or shallow. I have always felt that there are no so-called verbal chapters in good novels, because even if there are only dialogues throughout the novel, the dialogues in good novels are meaningful and helpful in shaping characters or advancing the plot. "The Story of Two Luan" is a novel that I have been preparing for three years. I pursue perfection for it, and even if I stop updating it for a short time, I will not allow it to become a verbal novel. 3. The setting of two heroines
Reasons for recommendation of "Double Luan Ji" ~ Continued
Continuing from the previous article~ 3. The setting of two heroines In fact, twins have always been a popular theme in literary works. Twins, similar in appearance, etc., Always give people an imagination that they can be exchanged, taken, or shared in life, so they are widely loved by authors and readers with open minds. There are many good works about twins. The most recent one is "White Night", which I have been following recently, and the far one is like "Diamond Castle" in the Barbie animated movie, and even "The True and False Princess" from the Grimm fairy tales. They are actually a reflection of the theme of twins, reflecting everyone's psychological desire to share, exchange and experience other people's lives. But I think that in fact, twins do not necessarily have two opposite sides of life like yin and yang, nor do they have to be duplicates of copy-and-paste life. They have the same roots, the same birth and the same growth, and they must have similar but different personalities when they grow up in almost the same environment. Their logic and world view are consistent, but their life pursuits and styles of life may be different. From my real experience as a twin, this is actually the case. The setting of the twin heroines in "Shuang Luan Ji" is such a simple and real setting of twins. 4. Growth process "The Story of Two Luan" is a novel that is expected to extend for more than ten years. During these more than ten years, everyone has their own growth and changes. Boys and girls grow up and mature in this process, and adults also naturally change in this process. When writing "Shuang Luan Ji", we never dare to despise or ignore the role of time. You can see the subtle changes in the life and psychology of everyone in the story from their youth to later years. Just like real life, the process of character growth is all in the reader's reading process.
