The Han rose in Shenzhou, a homeland shared by its people, not a dynasty ruled by one family

A dynasty may last centuries, but a homeland endures for millennia

His teachers and ancestors came from Huaxia in another world. Starting from a tiny, weak fiefdom with a population of just sixty thousand, they used advanced knowledge, steel blades, and powerful crossbows to establish a nation on the land of Shenzhou while the Central Plains lay in ruins. It was an empire of Han people, unlike the traditional feudal dynasties, where the people's identity with their homeland stood above loyalty to the sovereign or the throne. This Han is not that Han, and this empire is not a dynasty. No matter what surname the imperial family bears or which dynasty rules, the country's name is Han. This is a low-fantasy alternate-history novel with an invented geography, though readers familiar with real-world geography will quickly recognize that it is based on the real world with a few changes.
