Cold Emperor, Give Me a Smile

After transmigrating, she became a prince of a kingdom, disguised as a man. After all sorts of twists and turns, she finally became a flamboyant regent, arrogant and unruly, doing whatever she pleased. But all the while, she was racking her brains to find a handsome man to make her wife. One day, a handsome man who met all her requirements fell from the sky. What should she do? Obviously, roll up her sleeves and get ready to turn him gay! Wifey, I spent a fortune on you and even robbed the treasury. Are you touched? Wifey, I dismissed all my beauties for you, so you’re the only one I’ll spoil. Are you happy? Wifey, I stole the military seal for you and personally led the troops into battle. Isn’t that devoted of me? Wifey... Hey, wifey, didn’t we agree this would be in name only? Don’t climb into my bed! People said the Regent bullied men and women, squeezed the common folk, and did every kind of evil. She merely smiled, then went further and further down the path of wickedness. But ever since she met that man, so handsome he could put gods and men to shame, her life hit a wall. To avoid marrying a woman, she’d begged him to become her Regent Consort. They spent every day together, yet she had never once seen him smile! She could put up with all that, but there was one thing she couldn’t stand. She only wanted to marry a handsome man in dire straits and make him her consort. Why was he not only absurdly powerful, but also trying to abduct her and make her his empress? I’m out of here! I only wanted a wife to cover up my identity. I’m not interested in romance! This is a one-on-one romance with both leads sexually inexperienced and faithful to each other. She’s strong, and he’s strong too. It’s a lighthearted story with a serious plot. If you don’t like it... feel free to roast me. The author has a diamond heart, so it won’t break (cue wry grin).
