Xia Li, now a renowned Best Actress, realizes that her investor “Daddy” seems to have a bit of a thing for her. Lu Chen: “It’s been ten years, Lili. Is it really only a bit of a thing for you?” How will Lu Chen, who has loved Xia Li since they were teenagers, slowly draw closer and test the waters? Xia Li: “Lu Chen, from the moment you made that decision, you should have known there could never be a future for us.” Lu Chen: “Do you really think you can escape me now?” Longing for what you cannot have, parting from the one you love, and regretting those you resent. Everyone who seems immune to everything was once beyond saving.
