I Take the Lead as His Concubine

Luo Yu is no model transmigrator. She has neither the resolve to grow old with one person nor the ambition to rule the world. All she wants is to live a comfortable, well-to-do life without worrying about food or clothes.

Who would have thought that becoming a consort would trap her in this massive vortex? She has to deal with the women stirring up trouble in the inner court and rein in the beauties peering over the wall. At least the title of princess consort offers her some comfort. In a world where imperial power reigns supreme, it should at least let her throw her weight around.

But before she could even get comfortable in her place as princess consort, her prince disappeared. So Luo Yu had to journey to the frontier to confront the poison, shatter the bounds of inheritance, and stand atop the peak of the fire phoenix. After crossing mountains and rivers and enduring eighty-one trials, she finally rescued her prince from a pack of tigers, leopards, wolves, and jackals...

P.S. Strong male and female leads, one-on-one romance.
