Zhaoyang

Xin Liang had always been a lucky child. Almost his whole life had been bright and carefree.

That is, until college, when he met the darkness of his life: Zhao Yang.

Xin Liang first met Zhao Yang one late afternoon.

“Hey, why have you been following me? Do you need something?” Xin Liang turned to face the girl who had trailed him all the way from the cafeteria to the library.

At his words, the girl behind him slowly raised her head.

Looking at her pretty face, Xin Liang thought to himself: She’s born to be a homewrecker.

Her hair fell to her shoulders, and her large, almond-shaped eyes gazed at the boy before her. She pointed at the book in her arms and giggled. “I’m here to return this.”

Embarrassed, Xin Liang stammered, “Sorry.” Then he hurried away, looking as if he were fleeing for his life.

He heard the girl’s hearty laughter behind him, startling the birds nearby into flight.
