Spirit Vein Calamity

In Wolong Mountain Village, three Northern School yam diggers, or tomb raiders, made a vow of loyalty. The next generation upheld it too, bound by a friendship for which they would give their lives, standing by one another through thick and thin and never breaking faith, even in death. Seven years ago, a phoenix-blood jade seal led to a house being burned down and an entire family being wiped out. Relying on his family's feng shui book, The Dragon Satchel, Long Zijing enters the ancient tomb in Panlong Mountain with Kan Ge, son of Old Raven, an heir to the Northern School of tomb raiding. In the cave where dry bones return to life, they find a green chi-patterned jade pendant, spiritually linked to its owner's life, which had been lost by Long Gang, a close friend who died seven years ago and an heir to the Touching Gold lineage. They fight a black-clad man wearing a Touching Gold talisman over a dragon-vein map made of human skin, depicting eight hidden dragon veins, and discover that one of them conceals a spell capable of bringing the dead back to life. At Garden One Residence, they encounter the resurrected Long Gang and join forces as promised to solve every mystery. The hexagram-shaped tomb-shield pavilion, a bronze sword with a jade hilt, red-eyed zombies, reverse-born pupils, a female ghost who accompanies them along the way, Shennongjia, King Kaolie of Chu's palace, the Heavenly Gate Formation, the White-Powder Hag, coffin beasts, the underworld flower known as the crystal orchid, and naturally formed stone coffins... The road to finding the dragon veins is fraught with danger and peril at every turn.
