After two years as strangers in their marriage, she was pushed down by him on the day they divorced. She fought desperately to get away, but he became addicted to pushing her down. One day, he cornered her against the wall. “Wife, you drained me emotionally, refused to fulfill your duties as a wife, and now you want to run away?” “Ni Ruoshui, that’s enough. You were the one who rejected me first.” “Wife, once I’ve made it up to you, I’ll let you run.” And so, he pushed her down day after day. Unable to keep up, she could only beg for mercy. “Darling, you have so many rumored girlfriends. You should spread your affection around!” “Wife, I only like spoiling you.” Everyone said Mu Nanyan had been spoiled rotten. Ni Ruoshui, however, said that since she’d married such an outstanding man, she ought to walk around like she owned the place.
