Sakuragi, the Slam Dunk King

In 2050, Huadao, a freshman in high school and a young basketball player, was sidelined by an injury, causing his team to lose the national championship. A year and a half later, after a long absence from basketball, he returns to the court by sheer coincidence. A call from his former captain, “Gorilla,” and a special recruitment letter bring him into higher-level competition. By then, several of his old rivals have already made names for themselves, both at home and across the Pacific in the United States.

Can Huadao, long absent from the basketball scene, get back on equal footing with his rivals?

Can his homeland's basketball, dormant for nearly half a century, rise again?

What will come of the diplomatic upheaval that shakes the basketball world?

This is the great age of basketball! Basketball will change the fate of all humankind!
