Entertainment, Football, and Basketball

My new novel, NBA: The Rise of a Superstar, is out now. Please show it your support!

A lot happened in the summer of 2016.

At the Rio Olympics, China’s men’s basketball team lost five games in a row. Combined with their performance at the 2012 London Olympics, that made ten consecutive losses. They hadn’t managed a single win since Yao Ming retired.

The national soccer team lost back-to-back World Cup qualifiers to Syria, caught up in a war, and their old rivals Uzbekistan. Their hopes of qualifying were gone!

In the NBA, Kevin Durant joined the Warriors, setting off a three-point shooting frenzy.

Meanwhile, Li Feixiang stared at the calendar, completely baffled. January 1, 2007. An unparalleled talent! A double act in basketball and soccer.
