Whose Childhood Sweetheart Could Resist the Plum Blossoms?

In City A, two people had the most mysterious identities: one was the screenwriter known as “No One Shows Up,” and the other was the newly appointed CEO of S.D. Group. Two people were the most haughty: one was Song Ling, the eldest young master of the Song family, and the other was the agent of actress Lu Duo. None of these people with “the most” titles was easy to deal with. Fu Qiao had wanted to bring his absent-minded childhood sweetheart back into his life, but on the very day he took over as the new CEO of S.D. Group and announced its acquisition of Multi Entertainment, he was hit with the news: Multi Entertainment’s two biggest stars, screenwriter “No One Shows Up” and rising actress Lu Duo, were terminating their contracts. This turn of events was unexpected, yet somehow entirely reasonable. It was like some things that you could understand perfectly well, yet still couldn’t escape the dead end you’d made for yourself. Song Ch Nuan, the childhood sweetheart Fu Qiao had treasured for years, was just like that. At their first meeting in five years, Song Ch Nuan gave Fu Qiao a curt reply: “What the hell does it have to do with you?” The most memorable thing Song Ch Nuan had said during those five years was: “Childhood sweethearts who can’t grow old together hand in hand are just neighbors.” Five years later, Song Ch Nuan came across these words: “It’s best to fall in love three times in your life: once innocently, once passionately, and once for a lifetime.” She thought that in the more than twenty years since her birth, neither a short nor a long time, both her innocent love and her passionate love had been tied to Fu Qiao. Wouldn’t it be a bit of a loss to give her whole life to the same man, too?
