The Witch Strikes: The Palace Master's Plan to Subdue Demons

Perhaps it was fate, perhaps it was fortune. In a single moment, she was attacked.

Yu Shiyan never expected it, but perhaps it was a blessing in disguise. After transmigrating, she found the warmth she had been denied in her previous life. But no one could escape the restraints of power. In the end, her family, who had wanted no part in the world's struggles, lost everything.

He was handsome and graceful, a peerless gentleman of refined bearing.

The first time he saw her, she smiled with dimples, seemingly without a care in the world. Her innocence stirred a feeling in him he had never known.

The second time they met, she brazenly robbed him!

Who was he? Even the emperor wouldn't dare cross him lightly, and yet she had dared to rob him! This little minx was quite something.

But he decided to indulge her, giving her everything she wanted. Knowing full well that his influence would be part of the reason she would eventually lose everything, he indulged her all the more, handing over all his power without hesitation. It had nothing to do with love. He only wanted her to keep that innocence. He watched her make her way forward, step by step toward success. He watched her suffer and maneuver carefully, watched her become a demon and take control of the world, yet still retain her innocence and kindness. Though he knew she might fail, he was still willing to let her have her way in everything. Perhaps she did not disappoint him after all, and managed to succeed in the end, though it was a hard-won victory.

She understood everything he had given her and was grateful. But she knew all too well that he was only using her. He had a woman who always acted as if she were destined to become the future mistress of the Liyue Palace. She could not afford to hope for anything more from him. She could not explain what she felt, but she had to guard her heart. She watched that woman hover around him and act coy and sweet, while she could only pretend not to notice. Heaven knew how badly she wanted to run, to escape wherever he was.

Perhaps life is full of surprises. Perhaps we can turn a corner and find love, though it is not always easy. So come with me and see how they live their lives and play out their romance.
