Soul Lost in the Capital

I enjoy writing novels, and I also enjoy playing Go. While writing, I’d play Go online in my spare time, and that eventually gave me the structure for this long novel. Like a game of Go, it uses close combat, indirect attacks, feints, diversions, and encirclement from afar. The black stones represent the man, and the white stones represent the woman. With each taking turns to place a stone, the novel tells a love story spanning more than twenty years. The two protagonists journey from an age of innocence into an age of change. In this city of desire, amid the drama of ideals and materialism and the battle between money and love, they live and struggle through the joys and sorrows of life against the backdrop of their times.
