A Lovely Woman in the North

Lu Jiajia A bold, easygoing girl from Northeast China. She works as a white-collar employee at a foreign company, keeping regular nine-to-five hours. At twenty-four, she still hasn't had her first romance, much to her mother's dismay. Han Rui Twenty-eight, a meticulous and serious cardiologist. He has been in love once, but was left utterly heartbroken. Afraid to accept a new relationship, he is being pressured by his parents to go on blind dates. On her blind date, Jiajia had no idea that the guy she brought along to dinner was an upperclassman she'd secretly had a crush on for three years. Rui wasn't interested, and they parted amicably. But fate is a strange thing. Someone you think you'll never see again may one day reappear in your life, impossible to shake off. To say love has nothing to do with fate is a lie. To say love depends entirely on fate is a lie, too.
