Let Him Descend the Western Tower Beneath the Moon

When Han Xiaomo first meets Murong Yixuan, she is sixteen. She tries to save him out of kindness, but nearly gets herself killed. Though she narrowly escapes, she has no idea that her bright, stubborn eyes have left a deep imprint on his heart, stirring ripples in his once-indifferent soul.

Murong Yixuan is a man who lacks neither money nor power. For the sake of those eyes, he turns against the world, yet also saves it. They have inspired tenderness in him as gentle as flowing water, but this world is strange: not every love is returned. He loves her, she loves him, he loves her... And so love becomes poison, destroying the once-tender Murong and sealing their fate: they can never be together.

Alas, what if life could always be as it was at their first meeting?
