The novel begins with the appearance of "Lee Hyori", the daughter of the top female official, and tells stories through her being arranged by her father to enter the toll booth. Xiaoli's feelings are wandering between Li Yuan and Hu Kai. Faced with the two feelings of Hu Kai, who has superior conditions, and Li Yuan, who works with her, Xiaoli finally chooses Hu Kai. There is also the second female lead Jiang Ming, an ordinary girl who has always been in love with Li Yuan. In this real world, emotional investment and final choice. The story reveals social issues through the description of love. The heroine of the story, Hyori, has matured and faced reality through various experiences she has experienced in her life as a toll collector for nearly a year. The toll booth here is like a besieged city. People inside want to get out, and people outside want to get in. This is a psychological problem that many people have at this stage: everyone longs for a perfect and happy relationship, which preferably has abundant material support. No one wants to live a low-quality life. Everyone looks at others' happiness, but they don't know that everyone has their own pain and helplessness. This is an inner contradiction and a theme expressed in my novel. The novel is interspersed with scenes of conflicts between some drivers and passengers over payment of fares. Some of the language may be indecent, but I hope it will be recognized for the needs of the novel. These people at the toll booth are numb to real life and unknowable about the future - numbness, this kind of spiritual loss is the focus of my performance. Many people in the toll collection industry have this mentality. In fact, the same is true for many industries. I may describe people's psychology more deeply in future novels. Because I have just started writing, I will continue to delete and revise it before it is completed, so I hope readers who follow me will forgive me.
