I Want to Join the Party

This is a work that narrates real people and expresses true feelings - in December 1949, the Chinese People's Liberation Army advanced into the southwest and came to the ancient town of Longtan in southeast Chongqing. An 18-year-old Tujia female student was deeply moved by the fresh and bright song "What a Beautiful Place Over the Mountain." Wearing a cotton cheongsam, she followed the team and walked out of her hometown without looking back. As she walked, she looked at the soldiers and officers around her with inquiring eyes. She discovered that this team traveled through mountains and rivers and fought bloody battles, not only to get to a good place themselves, but to lead the people of China to a good place on the other side of the mountain! Oh, that's great! She made up her mind to follow this great team for the rest of her life.
