White Jade Whip

In order to get back the white jade whip, Yang Yuhuan had an affair with An, but An Lushan thought of its beauty and refused to return it. Prime Minister Yang Guozhong was jealous of An Lushan's authority and wanted to abolish his military power and force him to rebel. Li Bai was deeply worried about the Tang Dynasty and his sweetheart, and visited the north many times. He found out that An Lushan was planning to rebel, and informed Yang Yuhuan. However, Xuanzong stipulated that anyone who said An was rebelling would be dealt with by An himself, so Li had no choice but to write a poem alluding to An Lushan's rebellion, but Xuanzong laughed it off. The Anshi Rebellion broke out, and Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty went west to Sichuan. A mutiny broke out on the way, and Yang Yuhuan was hanged to death in Maweiyi. An Lushan learned that Yang Yuhuan was blind after his death and often beat him angrily with a white jade whip. He was soon killed by his son and the white jade whip was broken. The Anshi Rebellion finally failed, the Tang Dynasty turned from prosperity to decline, and the white jade whip disappeared.
