A Woman Lost to the Mortal World

“Why can I lock away my pen, but not love and sorrow? Why, over a long life, does joy always appear for a moment, then fade away? The loveliest moments are always the quickest to leave.” Haitang's experience of loving and being loved may differ from her parents', but the answer must be hidden in the classics. If she reads most of the world's great works before falling in love, her romances won't hurt her so badly. Instead, she will make a firm choice to love or not to love... “Everything happens for the best!” She accepts fate's unfairness with composure and does her best to move a little closer to happiness... Rather than say Haitang is looking for love, it would be more accurate to say she is looking for someone to support her. Her idea of romance is a handsome, elegant man who is also witty and charming, and willing to cover her daily expenses... In the end, Haitang realizes that no man is willing to support her that way forever. The only person who can truly support her is herself. By improving herself and investing in herself, she can become an outstanding provider for her own needs. That is how she can come out on top in life...
