Afternoon Sunlight

In the brightest years of youth, you fall for someone, and someone falls for you. I never want to miss a single frown or smile, a single gesture of yours. What about you? Do you ever search for me without thinking when you’re in a crowd? Do you silently worry when I get hurt? Do you ever stare absently at my silhouette from behind? Those years, that boy, that girl, that youth. That afternoon, that patch of sunlight: I’ll remember it. What about you? The purest love, the truest feelings. Please, just love with all your heart.
