Reminiscing About Those Days

When I was not yet an adult, I wanted to write about those fleeting years in the blink of an eye with tender writing full of memories and feelings. A delicate hourglass filled with golden particles, the interior slowly flows and records what happened in those years. The sunlight penetrates through the outer wall of the transparent container, casting a faint reflection on the ground. Those "golden" years look particularly dazzling under the warm autumn sunshine. What is diluted in our memory are those times when we were allowed to squander, indulge in debauchery, be stubborn, and make mistakes. I just never want to remind myself all the time that in fact, it is the youth that we never return to after we leave.
