Forever Sunflowers

Am I special to you at all? I'm afraid you'll never realize that I'm still by your side. Sometimes I wish you'd be a little meaner to me. Then it would be easier to give up. Again and again, you send me the wrong signals, making me think you have feelings for me. When you met her, I finally understood: it was all an illusion, no more than a fantasy of mine... Those years you spent by my side are my most beautiful memories. I don't ask you to return my love. I only hope you'll think of me now and then...
