[Standard Synopsis]
Zhou Huanyan transmigrated into Su Huanyan, going from a female assassin to the only daughter of a family of generals.
Scene One: {A hero who dotes on the heroine is the only kind worth having}
Gongxi Anren was aloof by nature. As crown prince and heir to the throne, he cared only about the realm, until one day a woman came into his life.
She asked seriously, “Will you give me everything I want?”
He gazed at her tenderly. “I’ll give you everything I have. If I don’t have it, I’ll steal it for you.”
She smiled. “I want the realm you think about day and night.”
His eyes lit up. “Fine. You can be empress, I’ll be your empress consort, and you can give birth to the children.”
She slapped him away. “I told you, no second child!”
Scene Two: {A male supporting character only counts if he’s crazy about the heroine}
Nangong Yao, the new emperor of Feng who seized the throne, would stop at nothing to claim the realm, but he was utterly captivated by a woman.
He sneered. “Is Yun Kingdom out of men? They actually sent a woman to the battlefield.”
She smiled proudly. “Su Changyuan is my father, Su Zhengran is my eldest brother, and I, Su Huanyan, can wipe out your thirty thousand troops even as a woman!”
Just as she said, all thirty thousand troops were wiped out. From then on, she made him more obsessed than the realm itself.
Scene Three: {An imperfect heroine can continue to grow}
Looking at the courtyard awash in blood, Huanyan heard her parents’ earnest words echo in her ears.
Her mother had said, “Yan’er, your father and I will take care of everything. Stay calm, don’t let those people make yourself sick, and don’t dwell on your troubles.”
Her father had said, “Yan’er, I only know how to kill enemies on the battlefield. I named you Huanyan because I want you to live free of worry. So remember, don’t get angry, and don’t let your thoughts grow too heavy. I only want you to live a safe and peaceful life.”
She hadn’t understood their words before. Now, looking at the bodies filling the courtyard, she finally understood: her poison had long since seeped into her bones.
Scene Four: {A doting romance needs a cute child}
The adorable child clung to her leg, eyes brimming with tears. “Empress Mother, Father Emperor bit your neck and hurt you. He’s so mean!”
Huanyan’s eye twitched, but she calmly replied, “It’s fine. I bit him back.”
The child suddenly understood. “Empress Mother is mighty! Make sure Father Emperor has even more marks on his neck than you do!”
A certain man beamed. “That’s right! Come on, bite me!”
[The Author’s Own Rambling Synopsis]
I want my heroine to be a skilled female assassin, someone who can kill those who deserve it and protect those who need protecting.
You might ask why she has to be an assassin. Because an assassin’s heart is cold.
I also want my heroine to be beautiful enough to make fish forget to swim and geese forget to fly, exceptionally talented, strong-willed, domineering, and formidable.
I imagine the hero as a handsome, charismatic, aloof man with high intelligence and low emotional intelligence, the kind who becomes adorably cute when he’s cold enough.
You may have noticed: the hero’s heart is cold, too.
What could be more wonderful than two cold hearts drawing close and melting together? Let me tell you.
I also want the hero and heroine to fall in love from the very beginning, then be completely devoted to each other, and finally grow old together.
The author believes the heroine must not be tormented, and neither must the hero. Everyone else is fair game.
Come into this story with the author and see how the hero and heroine fall deeply in love and join forces to conquer the world.
[The author’s writing is a slow burn, so give it a few more chapters. You might just fall hopelessly in love! Mwah!]
