Spoiled: The Wild Princess of Loulan

“Thirsty... so thirsty...”

*

For her boyfriend, Zhuang Yan, Xiao Xiang is willing to give up everything and trek with him through the desert, all to find the Loulan royal tomb he seeks.

When they are caught in terrible weather and their lives hang in the balance...

“Drink blood to quench your thirst!”

Zhuang Yan cuts Xiao Xiang's vein with his own hands, letting her blood drip into a goatskin flask.

As her blood drains away, so do Xiao Xiang's love and her life.

When she opens her eyes again, she has become a Han princess sent to the Kingdom of Loulan to seal a political marriage.

After transmigrating, she has truly arrived in Loulan, the place she had been unable to find even after giving her life for the search.

On her wedding night, the groom never comes home, and the princess becomes a laughingstock.

A blood-red jade bangle?

The High Priest says she is Loulan's Sacred Maiden, destined to lead the kingdom to glory.

Everyone else says she is a calamity of beauty, the cause of brothers turning against one another and war engulfing Loulan once more!

Only Luo Che says, “She is my wife.”

The moment he says it, the woman is pinned firmly beneath him.

“A calamity of beauty, huh? I'll make sure you can't get out of bed. Let's see how you'll attract all those admirers then!”

The woman protests, “I'm innocent! They're the ones who keep coming after me!”

Loulan was the name of an ancient kingdom in the Western Regions. It first appeared in Records of the Grand Historian and was once an important stop on the Silk Road. Today, only ruins remain. It was located in the northern part of Ruoqiang County, Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, seven kilometers from the southern bank of the Kongque River, in the northwest corner of Lop Nur. Much of this story is the author's imagination, with no historical records to support it.
