The Sword's Intent in a Fleeting Life

Moonlight casts shadows, icy frost fills the skies,

A lone lamp glows in the darkness, the world’s story nearly done.

Strange spirits scatter through the hollow skies,

Only traces remain, with the moon for company.

Under the bright moon, the vast heavens; gods and demons slain to offer tribute to the firmament. I peer into the life and death of all things and marvel at the boundless world. One battle between heaven and earth, and all the gods are destined to fall, all creation reduced to ashes.

One wrong step, and a lifetime of wrongs. A moment’s anger back then brought catastrophe upon all creation. Even as mountains and rivers burned to the ground, I would never again see you turn back with a smile.
