The Masked Princess Consort Is Fierce

Dongfang Qingge, the legitimate consort of Prince Kangjing's manor in the Jiulan Dynasty, is known as the ugliest woman in the kingdom. Timid and cowardly, she is easily bullied.

Heishen of the West is the strongest uncrowned emperor of the Poyue Dynasty. Ruthless and merciless, he rewards those who follow him and destroys those who oppose him.

In a world of intrigue, the radiant phoenix is trapped in shallow waters. When she opens her eyes again, Heishen has become Qin Ge, the weak and useless consort known as the Ghost-Faced Princess. Her gaze turns cold as she returns like a ruler. She swears that everyone who wronged her will pay, one by one!

◆

Her story: A battle for dominance in the household, a struggle for the throne, and handsome men vying for her. The legitimate consort is fierce, with a face that could topple kingdoms!

His story: He schemes for power, influence, and love, his brilliant plans unfolding at every turn!

◆

She is the stepmother he once scorned; he is the aloof, eccentric heir who seems to her to have something wrong with him.

She is domineering and unyielding; he is cold and mysterious.

She has no need for love, while he doesn't understand what love is.

And yet their meeting...

Shakes the heavens and earth!

He weaves a net for her, gives her a pair of wings, then gives her the whole sky to soar through, all so she will willingly return to his side and never leave.

Grant me three thousand favors, and I will give you love that lasts till the end of time.

He dotes on her to an astounding, utterly outrageous degree, stopping at nothing to please her!

On the city wall, almost buried beneath the ice and snow, gale-force winds howl. She stands serenely, held captive by the enemy.

Seeing the corpses strewn across the land below, the earth washed in blood, her pupils suddenly contract. Ahead, through a forest of cavalry and a vast army, he charges through the crowds with unstoppable force.

His air of sovereign majesty, his bloodthirsty slaughter that shakes thousands of enemy troops, the battle that shocks the world: all prove that he would overturn the world for her.

“My little Ge, I've come to take you home.”

On the city wall, Qin Ge gazes at his face, spattered with blood yet still pure and flawless. His solemn expression finally softens.

“Idiot, you're so late.”

They say there will soon be a selection of imperial consorts at the palace. Seated upon the throne in the Golden Hall, Qin Ge points her sword at Tantai Qingming.

“I want to be emperor.” Once he's off the throne, no one will dare bring this up again!

Tantai Qingming pauses, then simply says, “Fine.”

Now it's Qin Ge's turn to be stunned. “That easy? Then I want to build a harem.”

At that, Tantai Qingming's eyes flash with anger. He pounces on her and shouts, “Then your harem will only ever have one person in it: me!”

Scene Three:

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

A certain man makes a mistake, then sends someone to test the waters.

A palace maid carefully asks, “Your Majesty, if someone accidentally offends you, how long does it take you to forgive them?”

The heroine glances coolly toward a certain corner. “Forgiving him is Heaven's job. Mine is to take him up to Heaven to beg for forgiveness.”

The man hears this and immediately gets the message.

“Ah, Master, calm down! The heroine was only joking. Please don't really go up there!”

This story has all kinds of rivalry, but at heart it's a romance about being doted on. One couple, a female-led relationship with a strong male lead. The heroine is powerful and calculating, while the male lead is devoted and endlessly indulgent.
