When the Snake Princess flees to the human realm...
The Snake Realm loses a sweet, well-behaved princess, while the human realm gains a scheming menace.
Lost her magic? She still has her martial arts!
She can still gather a gang, roam the mountains, and kill and rob!
Scheming and strategizing? No problem!
Leading armies into battle? She knows her way around a battlefield!
Plotting to seize the throne? That’s her specialty!
The bloodthirsty prince? She’ll meet his troops with her own.
The mysterious palace master? She’ll counter his tricks with her own.
The transmigrated poison consort? She’ll match wits and fight to the end!
The world is hers for the taking. A little infighting is nothing. Her husband loves her more than life itself!
When at last everything settles down, she discovers that it has all returned to the beginning...

Disciple A looked at the bloodthirsty prince sprawled at his feet, usually so arrogant, and his eyes gleamed. “Master, what should we do now?”
The Snake gave the prince a casual glance and frowned. “My disciple, this won’t do. How will the prince ever show his face again?”
The prince, poisoned and temporarily stripped of his powers, breathed a small sigh of relief.
“We should cripple him and sell him to a male brothel in Eastern Wu!”
Eyeing the prince’s muscular body, the Snake said in a soft voice.
Thud!
The prince passed out in dismay.

Disciple B: “Master, the martial arts tournament will be held at my manor soon and will last three days. I plan to charge all the heroes for lodging and meals. Standard rooms are one tael of silver a night, deluxe rooms three taels. Servants are charged by the hour. We’ll also offer various insurance packages: broken limbs, cuts and bruises, and death with no body left to bury...”
The Snake: “You’re terrible at making money, disciple. Let me teach you. Fighting means bloodshed, right? And blood has to be cleaned up, right? That takes labor, so whoever bleeds has to pay a cleaning fee: one tael per time, or ten taels for three days. Littering or spitting in the manor and messing up public spaces costs one tael each time, or ten taels for three days. We’ll also open up spectator seats for five hundred wen per entry, and sell membership cards for one hundred taels each. Every service listed above gets a twenty-percent discount for members.”
Disciple B: “What if the martial arts crowd objects?”
The Snake: “Then tell them to get lost. No one said they had to come. If they want to be martial arts league leader, they’ll have to pay. That’s a monopoly!”
Disciple B: “Master, you’re magnificent!”

“My prince, I’m off to the martial arts tournament to pick a fight. Love you!”
“My prince, I’m off to Eastern Wu to wage war. Miss you!”
“My prince, I’m off to Western Jin to plot a coup and seize the throne. I’ll be back soon! Don’t miss me!”
The man held the notes she had left over the past few months. As he stared at her flamboyant handwriting, his face darkened with fury. He gritted his teeth and growled,
“She Yue Ru!”
