Three Dreams of Ziying

Because I have an extreme mental and physical aversion to dirt and like clean men, the male lead in this story is absolutely a virgin. Because this is an alternate Great Zhou, where men and women are equal, and I am a true villain through and through. Because I have watched too many tragic palace romances, this story is all about cozy farming life. Because everyone says marriage is the grave of love, this story goes so far as to erect a headstone. Of course, women are still women, men are still men, and the female lead is still the one who has the children. Come and see: though he has seen every shade of beauty, none can match the endless allure of his eyes and brows. Though flawless as white jade, it lacks three parts of his subtle fragrance. Before his red lips even part, they are already like two rosy clouds. With a nature as precious as gold and jade, why would he need to resemble Pan An? This is the second son the female lead favors most. He is the dream lover of the young women of Chang'an, a white-horse prince, but alas, what a pity! In the end, he catches the eye of some young woman from Jiangnan, and he and the female lead even have a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law battle. Let's leave the younger generation for later and take a look at the children's father! With skin like ice and bone, and a soul as refined as a celestial terrace, he carries a scholar's gentle warmth and a hidden fragrance. He is like an ink painting, fragrant with ink, its lines and shades sparse or rich, yet perfectly elegant. His eyelashes are long, and his eyes are like two autumn pools veiled in mist, deep with meaning. He is virtuous when virtue is called for, capable when the moment demands it, stern when necessary, and ruthless when he must be. The children respect their father most. He is skilled at painting. Someone asks, “After all that, where did the female lead go?” The author replies, “The female lead went off to make a cameo.”
