A Little Love, A Lot of Spoiling

She’s a slow-to-react foodie.

He’s a handsome guy who can be a little childish at times.

She’s a freshman, and he’s a senior.

At their first meeting, feelings quietly take root.

At their next, sparks fly.

Scene One

“Thanks for the shirt today.”

“Hehe, are you thanking only my shirt?”

“Of course I have to thank you, too. I’ll give you a big thank-you gift!”

“A big gift? How big?”

“Would giving myself to you be big enough?”

Scene Two

“I’m selfish, melodramatic, and unreasonable… I just want to be able to find you the moment I miss you, instead of having to wait until I’m dreaming.”

“Silly girl.” He pulled her tightly into his arms.

Her tears soaked his lapel and slowly seeped into his heart. “Come back, please. Come back for me, all right?”

Scene Three

When Zhe Zhe saw Xie Xiyan wearing her bathrobe and kissing the corner of Liang Xu’s lips, her expression froze. She silently walked inside, and the room fell terrifyingly quiet.

“Please leave.”

“Zhe Zhe, let me explain.” Liang Xu pushed Xie Xiyan away and rushed to Zhe Zhe’s side.

“Get out!” Zhe Zhe was nearly hysterical.

Xie Xiyan seized the chance to pull Liang Xu away.

At the heavy sound of the door slamming shut, Zhe Zhe curled up on the loveseat, trembling.

When reality plays too many cruel jokes on them,

how far can this love, destined by fate, travel through the vastness of time?
