The Serpent's Fangs

I will not be a weed swaying with the wind, nor a flower placed on the throne to please the powers that be! This is the most magnificent mythic epic. This is a moving love story about a human and a demon falling in love. This is an unrepentant vow belonging to a true man of passion. This is a wild, defiant howl challenging heaven, earth, the gods, and fate itself! P.S. Everyone who read Eagle Spreads Its Wings told me my books were too bloodthirsty, so I wanted to make this one a little more restrained. But that left it without its own distinctive flavor, and I ended up writing with my hands tied. The first thirty-eight chapters are what they are: readable, but not exciting enough, not bold enough. The chapters ahead will bring the most brutal ancient human battlefield, an eruption of bloodshed and desire, and a clash of wits and strength that pushes the philosophy of human warfare to its absolute peak. The sword in his hand is a deadly weapon on the battlefield! His strategic genius and loyalty are the foundations of his power in the world of politics! A man's boundless courage and disregard for death cloak him in radiant splendor, making him the perfect lover in every woman's heart! If you have a weak heart, bring your own heart medicine. If you are a chivalrous soul, get your bricks ready. You bloodthirsty maniacs, grab some beer and howl along with me! Remember my words: As a man, bare your sharp fangs, stand tall, and never go down! Whether on the battlefield, in bed, or in the cutthroat world of political scheming!!!
