Digimon: A Tale of Destiny

This is a sequel to Digimon Hunters, with Mina as the main character.

After Kai and the others defeated Ogudomon, peace finally returned to both the Digital World and the human world. Everyone who returned to the human world settled back into a quiet life. But a year later, a new crisis emerged! This time, their enemy was the “Undying King,” who claimed to come from another world and had been imprisoned in the Dark Area in ancient times by Lucemon, before his fall into darkness. To fulfill his ambitions, the Undying King intends to bring the “Forbidden Vessel” into the world!

However, the Forbidden Vessel needs a suitable human host, and Mina is the prime candidate. The Undying King's subordinates take Mina, the chosen “vessel,” to the Dark Area! To rescue her, Laide and the others, along with Myotismon, are also sent to the Dark Area by different “Guides.”

Faced with a terrifying enemy they know nothing about, what will they do?
