The Dream Guy Is Easy to Catch, Hard to Keep Down

Qin Chaomu is a professor in the medical law department at D University. Distant and detached, he’s like an icy snow lotus: lovely to look at from afar, but impossible to get close to.

Still… there’s no shortage of people who don’t know when to quit. At a university academic conference, Lu Anhao caught one glimpse of him and fell for his looks. From then on, she became one of those people who didn’t know when to quit.

And the result of not knowing when to quit is… never knowing if you’re dead or alive.

“You still haven’t given up on liking me?”

It was Qin Chaomu’s calm voice, giving away nothing, yet it stirred her heart.

Lu Anhao was half embarrassed, half annoyed. Her eyes darted around, not knowing where to look. “Uh… Professor Qin, my students are waiting for me to teach them!”

“So that means you don’t like me anymore?” Qin Chaomu seemed not to have heard her. His captivating voice rang out again.

Lu Anhao suddenly looked up and met his dark, bright eyes. Her heart skipped a beat. “I… I… what if I said… I do like you?”

A slight curve formed at the corner of Qin Chaomu’s lips. “Well, I never said you weren’t allowed to.”

Lu Anhao cheered inwardly. Was he smiling at her?

“Miss Lu, why are you spacing out?”

“Miss Lu, why is your face so red?”

“Miss Lu, what happened to your mouth?”

…

Looking at her students, a rowdy bunch who never studied, laughed and joked around, got into fights, caused trouble, and often gave her a scare but sometimes surprised her, she set down her textbook and blustered, “I… have a sore throat!”

“Oh, so you have a sore throat. Professor Qin has one too…” A wave of knowing sighs swept through the room.

“…”
