I Came from the Immortal Realm

You were once an immortal in the heavens. How did you end up falling to the mortal realm?

Five hundred years ago, Meng Changming had just reached the Earth Immortal realm when he went to brave the heavenly tribulation, hoping to send his brother's shattered soul into reincarnation. By accident, he ascended to immortality instead.

Five hundred years later, to escape an absurd marriage arranged by the immortals, Meng Changming defied the heavens and descended to the mortal world. His immortal body was destroyed, and a fragment of his immortal soul possessed a scholar. Before he knew it, he had become the greatest literary talent under heaven.

(The immortal realm in this novel is not the Celestial Court from Journey to the West. Any similarities are purely coincidental, so don't take it too seriously.)
