Blue Flame, Enchanting Moon

“When the blue flame appears, the demon will return. To slay the demon, only the blue flame will suffice.”

A prophecy, a totem: they were destined to set her apart, and destined to give her a duty and a mission.

A treasured sword? A secret manual?

One legend turned her into an orphan overnight.

From then on, she kept everyone at a distance, as cold as a snow maiden atop an icy mountain.

On her first trip down the mountain, she stumbled upon the legendary mass brawl, though it was really a crowd beating up one person.

She could have slipped away without a sound, but three thousand strands of snowy hair caught her eye. For the first time, she felt there might be something besides duty and destiny that could interest her.

But she never expected that the man who caught her interest would bring one trouble after another. No matter how much she ignored him, she always ended up having to step in and help.

What? She’d only wanted to watch the show, but somehow she’d gotten caught up in it herself?

Fine. If her heart had already been moved, why run from it? Besides, she rather liked this feeling…

When they first met, she was dressed all in white, like a fairy who had wandered into the mortal world. Without realizing it, his heart skipped a beat. Even he didn’t notice.

When she saw his white hair, she didn’t call him a monster like everyone else. Instead, she calmly told him, “You’ve just been afflicted with ‘Snow Passion.’ What’s there to be afraid of?”

How interesting. He sent several of his friends to look for her, but not one could find her. It was as if she had vanished. To his friends, this was the most unbelievable thing that had ever happened. They were the Eight Seekers, the all-knowing experts of the martial world. There was no person or thing they couldn’t find.

But why was it that the longer he failed to find her, the more his interest in her grew?

Her mysterious identity and the confident smile on her face gradually drew him in…

She was the legendary successor of the Dugu clan, sought after by everyone in the martial world, though no one had ever seen her.

When she raised her sleeves, no one could escape. Who could guess the countless deadly traps hidden in her rendition of “High Mountains and Flowing Water”? When her treasured sword emerged, it was as if the world were covered in ice and snow, and no one could stand against her.

He was a living demon who had wiped out an entire sect in a single night. From then on, everyone feared him. Whenever he appeared, people kept their distance, hoping to escape his notice.

Both were cold-hearted, yet they met and fell helplessly for each other…
