The Phoenix Rules All: Don't Bully the Maid

“You know, I'm tired.” A tear of blood slid down as she smiled and drank the deadly poison.

Twice, she had died with hatred in her heart, both times because of him. The man seated above her darkened his phoenix eyes, his expression still cold and severe.

She was a lowly beggar, insignificant and destitute, with no one and nothing.

She thought she had found a peaceful home where she could shelter from the wind and rain. Little did she know it was a place of danger, hiding countless secrets.

She had only wanted to keep her head down and live a peaceful life.

But the mistress of the house was a leopard, her brother-in-law a tiger, and her husband harbored murderous intentions.

Even after leaving her for dead, they wouldn't let it go. And after she survived, they were determined to finish her off.

If you have no heart, then I'll be done with you! When I can bear it no longer, I'll fight: against jackals, wolves, tigers, and leopards!

She turns the tables with overwhelming force, looking down on all creation.

Watch as a maid returns from the dead to serve her wolfish lord, rise from the ashes as a phoenix, and rule over all under heaven.
