The Wicked Healer Qingmu

She was an ordinary daughter born to a concubine. She embarked on the path of cultivation not to attain the Great Dao or conquer the world, but simply to improve her standing at home and stop being bullied. Yet her sect, Qianshui Pavilion, handed her over to the Qingxuan Palace in exchange for a pill cauldron.

She was proud, but also learned to take life as it came. She had hoped to focus on cultivating, gain a few hundred years of life, and journey across mountains and rivers to the ends of the earth. Little did she know that the medical skills she had unwittingly mastered would keep her entangled in the feuds and conflicts of the cultivation world.

Some say she is righteous, others say she is wicked. Some say she stands apart from the world, while others say she is kind and approachable. Rumors abound, like red candles stained with wax, burning through youth and lighting a one-way path of cultivation.

No one knows that even though she heals the world and commands awe throughout the land, all she wants is a thatched hut with someone inside who will spare her a lifetime of worry and sorrow.
