Tales of the Winged Yokai

Long Ying is seventeen, a second-year high school student. She lived in Japan until she was six, then returned to China with her parents. It's obvious where her name came from: cherry blossoms.

She looks like an ordinary high school student, and for a long time she lived an ordinary life too, until one day she suddenly saw...

Monster One: “Idiot, that's mine.”

Monster Two: “No! You can't eat it!”

Monster Three: “Y-you can really see me? Really, really? You're not lying... are you a monster?”

Monster Four... a Taoist? A monk? Or an alien?

“So I really am Ichiro!”

A funny, everyday story about ordinary people and monsters.

“If you get more than ten meters away from him, you won't be able to see monsters.” “Hmph! You won't be able to see us either.” “Aw, that's so mean.” “...Special move.”

As long as Long Ying is more than ten meters away from him, she can't see monsters. Within ten meters, she can see every monster perfectly clearly. And what about the two of them? Within ten meters, nothing changes. Beyond ten meters, he turns invisible, then reappears when she comes back within range, naked to boot?

That's a dangerous distance! Let's see how she and the monsters manage to get through each day “safely”!
