Mo Hanhan is a twenty-first-century doctoral graduate with expertise in both traditional Chinese medicine and biology. One day, she dies and transmigrates into the body of a young village woman with the same name. Her parents died early, and she has only three mu of thin farmland and her gravely ill grandmother to rely on. She spends her days farming and doing business, building wealth and working toward a comfortable life. Things couldn't be better.
She only meant to take advantage of a little opportunity. Who knew she'd end up picking up a little boy as well? One little boy is no big deal; she can just raise him like a pet. But can someone explain why this little brat is so wild, domineering, and arrogant that no one can beat him? Most importantly, how did this rosy-cheeked toddler turn into a handsome man nearly six feet tall after only a few days apart? Did he grow by taking some kind of “Super Fast” growth pills?
Murong Yi, the Prince Regent of Chen, holds power over the entire court. Cold and violent by nature, he uses bloody and ruthless methods against his enemies. One careless mistake, and the poison in his body flares up, turning him into a three-year-old child. Then he gets thoroughly bullied. Glaring at the audacious woman, Murong Yi grits his teeth. “You can bully me for a while today, but I will bully you for the rest of your life! No, for all eternity!”
Scene One:
Three-year-old Murong Yi
Murong Yi choked on his words. He had forgotten the disgust he felt when a woman touched him, and now he was overwhelmed by awkwardness. “Let go of me! Don't you know men and women shouldn't touch each other?”
Hanhan quickly wiped him dry. Hearing this, she gave him a scornful glance and reached out to flick his little bird. “You think someone like you even counts as a man?”
Murong Yi felt as if he had been struck by lightning. His little face went from red to white, white to green, and green to black, shifting through every color. He didn't know whether he was embarrassed, angry, or simply mortified. For a moment, he forgot how to react... His lordship, the dignified Prince Regent, had actually been teased!
Scene Two:
In the Prince Regent's study
Murong Yi glanced at the medicinal soup in Hanhan's hands, a playful look crossing his narrow eyes. “The medicine is too bitter. You drink it!”
Hanhan's mouth twitched. Damn it, you think it's bitter, but you think I won't? And wasn't this tonic brewed at your own command? What the heck am I supposed to drink it for?
Before she could finish complaining, the Prince Regent's long, bewitching eyes turned toward her again. “Do you want me to feed it to you? In that case, I'll make an exception.”
Hanhan jumped. “No...” need.
A soft, slightly cold lip covered hers. Then came a mouthful of bitter... medicinal soup.
Medicinal soup? Hanhan wanted to die. She had hated drinking it ever since she was little, especially this bowl, which she'd loaded with a big handful of coptis root to get back at Murong Yi!
Before she could react, another mouthful of medicine passed over to her. Hanhan burst into tears... It was so damn bitter!
Only after the medicine was gone did Hanhan suddenly realize something. “Hey, do you even know that men and women shouldn't touch each other?” She put her hands on her hips, furious.
The Prince Regent calmly returned to his desk. His dark, narrow eyes swept over her twice, a trace of disdain in them, before he said slowly, “Do you even count as a woman?”
Hanhan followed his gaze and instantly flushed bright red. Damn it, having a small chest doesn't mean I'm not a woman!
This is a one-on-one romance. The male and female leads are both pure in body and heart, with no angst or misunderstandings, and plenty of devoted affection. Dive in with confidence!
