The Poison Queen Returns: A Tyrant at Home

Imprisoned for seven years, she was starved at every meal and endured endless abuse. In desperation, she was even forced to give birth to a son. Inside the arena, her son had his arm torn off, flesh and blood flying everywhere. Outside the arena, she cried until her heart broke, unable to make a sound. And her husband, a cup in one hand and another woman in the other, clapped and laughed with delight. She watched in despair as her son bled to death before her eyes, unable to do anything. She watched helplessly as her entire clan was executed and her family wiped out. She hated him. She swore that if she survived, she would rise again, destroy his kingdom, slaughter his people, and make him wish he were dead. Having escaped death, she left her homeland and journeyed far away to Chu. She rose to become empress, standing high above all, wielding power over the realm. With a flip of her hand, she could turn the clouds and summon the rain. Now she had returned in triumph, coolly watching her former husband, now a prisoner at her feet. She smiled wildly, seductively, and bloodthirstily. Rumor had it that the Empress of Chu was as cruel as a snake, murdering consorts, plotting against loyal ministers, and executing members of the royal family. Everyone feared her. Rumor had it that the Emperor of Chu was cold and ruthless, savage and bloodthirsty. The slightest offense was enough to condemn an entire clan. Everyone trembled before him. But... rumor also had it that although the Emperor of Chu was brutal, he was afraid of his wife. One frown from the empress, and the emperor would immediately kneel on a washboard, his face fallen as he begged for mercy. Rumor had it that the Emperor of Chu adored his empress so much that he dismissed all three thousand women of his harem. Rumor had it that, in a fit of rage for the empress, the Emperor of Chu slaughtered three hundred thousand people and bathed Tianfeng in blood, leaving no human or animal alive. His methods were brutal. Everyone sighed that the brutal emperor and his wicked consort would surely bring ruin to the world. And sure enough, she was jealous and vicious, branded a scourge upon the nation. She stood beside him as he ruled the world, while he indulged her until she became a wicked empress who could do anything she pleased, with no regard for law or order.
