Men conquer the world; women conquer men. Especially in a society where men rule, if you want to reach the top, you naturally have to conquer a top-tier man.
Ye Meiw is a stunning assassin from the 21st century. One careless move led to her accidental death. But fate gave her a second life in another world, along with the same breathtaking beauty. Unwilling to be used as a pawn, she resolutely gave up wealth and status.
The first time they met, she was alluring and captivating, making a name for herself with a single dance. He was gravely wounded and on the verge of death.
The second time they met, her breath was sweet and she was utterly bewitching. He kept his composure, then kicked himself for it. (Yes, that’s right.)
The third time they met, she stood apart from the world, beautiful and cold as ice. His heart skipped a beat, and he could never forget her again.

Scene one: You owe me your life!
“Why did you save me?” the man asked warily, watching Ye Meiw.
“Why does there have to be a reason? You’re handsome, that’s why.” Ye Meiw rolled her eyes and continued what she was doing.
“Tell me, what do you want?” The man grimaced in pain.
“What if I tell you I don’t want anything?” Ye Meiw propped her head on one hand and answered wearily.
“I don’t want to owe anyone anything.” The man stared blankly ahead, his expression empty.
“Remember, you owe me your life!”
Scene three: I can afford to raise the child.
“Your Highness, Miss Ruolin says she’s carrying your child.”
The man writing at his desk didn’t even look up. “Tell the princess consort to deal with it.”
“Your Highness, Miss Ruolin says she’s carrying the prince’s child. The prince says you should handle it.” The young servant waited for her response, sweating all over.
Reclining on the chaise, Ye Meiw lifted her beautiful eyes and curled her red lips into a lazy smile. She yawned. “Let her stay in the Western Courtyard for now.”
“Yes.” The young servant sighed in relief and prepared to leave.
“Once the child is born, bring it to me. Make Ruolin a concubine, then execute her at once.” She said it as if it meant nothing, then smiled seductively. “I can afford to raise the child.”
The heroine repays kindness and vengeance alike, and knows the difference between love and hate. The hero is independent and powerful, and utterly devoted to his wife. This is a one-on-one romance, with the occasional pure-hearted male love rival and a few scummy men and women. I hope you’ll support the story.
