Yesterday Once More

Those born in the seventies were destined to experience an era completely unlike the one their parents had known. Stepping out of school and into society, they faced confusion, helplessness, and uncertainty. Once the initial excitement faded, they began to reflect on life.

There were countless obstacles, of course, but they refused to fade into obscurity. They wanted to use their strength, youth, knowledge, and courage to carve out a path toward their own dreams. Yet at times, they too felt lost and bewildered. Work, wealth, love, friendship, relationships, and the clash between old and new ideas: in this complex world, they tested themselves and found their place in society, while some lost their way completely.

We share in their joy and suffer their pain, because we belong to the same generation. Our parents are dear to us, and from them we inherited optimism, open-mindedness, tolerance, and kindness. We also envy those who came after us. They are young, full of energy and passion, and the world is opening up before them with an even brighter future. We hope that those born in the eighties and nineties will have greater ambitions than we did and live even better lives.
