That Wait Left the City in Ruins

Luo Yujin, Jian Xinse,

Back then, he and she,

went from the warmth of their youth straight into an endless entanglement;

perhaps

it was simply because

one person had once appeared in her world.

But

to conceal a secret from the past and protect her family’s honor,

she severed those feelings in the most decisive way possible: a whirlwind marriage.

He was a proud, even arrogant man,

the well-known Fourth Young Master of the Luo family.

Though he was immune to almost every woman,

he gave her the title of Mrs. Luo.

Then,

on their wedding night,

she mysteriously vanished from his world...

In the years that followed, she moved from country to country.

They were the only two people in the world who knew that they were named in the same marriage certificate.

Seven years later, she returned with divorce papers,

trying to untangle all the knots of the past...

When everything came to light and the past resurfaced,

she suddenly realized that

he had waited for her for seven years,

while she, consumed by memories of someone else,

had somehow lost

the only three months of warmth they had ever shared...

All his grievances and resentment were just waiting for the day she finally woke up...

What she never knew was that, from the moment the waiting began, this city had slowly fallen into ruin...
