Grudge in Golden Threads

He was the legendary Prince Fu, renowned for his extraordinary beauty. She was the Second Miss of the Yun family, who had secretly given him her heart. One day, the Empress Dowager issued a decree granting the Yun family’s daughter as a concubine to Prince Fu. But the man who stood with her at the wedding ceremony was a eunuch. When she finally met him, she discovered that his former beauty was gone. His face was disfigured, and he was blind and disabled. The gentle, warm man he had once been had become cruel and violent... He even went so far as to give her away to someone else... With tears streaming down her face, she wondered when he would realize that she was the woman who had risked her life to save him beneath the eastern breeze, among the dazzling trees and flowers? And when he cruelly lifted her child on the tip of his sword, could she still go on loving him? The deeper the love, the stronger the hate... Well, Jixiang admits this synopsis is a little, well, intense. But Jixiang isn’t an evil stepmother. Trust me: passionate love and warmth have always been the themes I write about. A little angst, lots of love, and a happy ending. It’s worth looking forward to! Hehe.
