Dream of the Red Chamber: Romance in Xiaoxiang

After reading Dream of the Red Chamber closely, I closed the book and pondered. The dazzlingly talented Daiyu should not fall for a spineless, useless playboy. She deserves someone who cherishes her and has the strength to protect her. Hongzhou, Yongzheng's fifth son, was a famously eccentric prince in history. Beneath his eccentricity, however, lay deep affection. He had no desire to contend for the throne and cared nothing for fame or fortune. All he cared about was a heart that loved sincerely. Only someone like him could truly give Daiyu a happy, beautiful life. In my opinion, Daiyu fell for Baoyu only because the Grand View Garden was full of hidden dangers, and Baoyu was one of the few people there with any real feeling. That was why Daiyu, just awakening to love, came to like him. But if someone who truly understood and cherished her had been by her side when she was young, would the tragic fate she endured still have come to pass? If the wheel of fate turned in a different direction from the very start, could Daiyu have had fewer worries and more joy? Come and see Bamboo's take on a different story of Dream of the Red Chamber. To repay the Divine Attendant Shenying for watering her, the Crimson Pearl Immortal vowed to repay him with the tears of her entire life, until at last she wept herself to death. But how will she repay the kindness of the Western Divine Dragon, who gave her his heart? After hearing that Baoyu and Baochai were to be married, Daiyu fell gravely ill and wandered through the Land of Illusion in a dream. There she learned that she still had another debt of gratitude to repay. When she descends to the mortal world once more, how will she repay a sincere heart with true love? What kind of once-in-a-lifetime romance will unfold between Daiyu and the Western Divine Dragon of old, now Prince Yi? Find out in A Dream of the Red Chamber: Love in Xiaoxiang and Yi! Author's note: I couldn't bear to see the graceful and ethereal Lin Daiyu weep herself to death for a playboy, so I gave her someone more worthy of her. This is my first story, so I hope you'll show it plenty of support.
