Dream of the Red Chamber: The Love of Shui and Dai

Fu Chamingyi, a Qing dynasty scholar of the Dream of the Red Chamber, once wrote, “If only I could find a wisp of soul-restoring incense, to rouse you from your long illness and let you continue among the red flowers.” His poem voiced the hopes of countless Dream of the Red Chamber fans. But could Baoyu, so passionate yet weak and lacking in resolve, protect Lin Daiyu for the rest of her life? Would Lady Wang tolerate Daiyu and Baoyu becoming betrothed? What means would she use against Daiyu? Once the golden union of Baoyu and Baochai is set, where will Daiyu go? And who will bind Daiyu to him in marriage? What kind of man could accompany this celestial maiden from beyond the mortal world for a lifetime? Please don't reveal your QQ number in the synopsis, lest someone impersonate you. The young scholar with ox horns, the bold hero with a bristling beard, all can be summoned with a simple letter. Let us revel in style. Gold-threaded foreign paper, ink flowing freely in drunken strokes. Weary travelers from the Five Lakes, wild souls from Jin and Chu, let us call for wine and head to the qin stage. Let us roam free. Let's invite the daughters of Xiaoxiang to play the qin and reed pipes, raise our cups in conversation, and roam free together in the Carefree Pavilion.
