Three Seasons a Year

In an ordinary university, a group of graduating students who were determined to take the postgraduate entrance exams gathered in a study room submerged in the green trees of the old campus. Although they have been classmates for three years, the most intimate greetings between them are just nods and smiles. But in this last year, their common ambitions, experiences of sharing joys and sorrows, and the deep affection between them all tightly bound them together. There is an old saying that "the friendship between gentlemen is as light as water". In fact, the most practical consolation for them is that "there is no feast that lasts forever", so they are still conservative when facing confession; they are still calm when facing separation. They joked about separation, thinking that distance would not create communication problems, and that it would not matter if they never saw each other again. They appreciate the stage of life they have fought for, forgetting the appearance of their comrades in the struggle, but they can still vaguely appreciate the feeling of that year - laughter and sadness, hesitation and courage, loneliness and excitement... All kinds of youthful feelings make them can only greet their comrades who fought side by side with a sense of sadness from a distance...
